CORMAC
Cormac is our well-loved High King, but is troubled about the future of his Kingdom. He worries that his daughter is not ready to take up her responsibilities as future Queen of Tara, and fears the dark forces of the otherworld, which are presenting themselves in his land.

Cormac is de geliefde hoge koning van Tara, een van de 6 provincies die Ierland toen kende. De toekomst van het koninkrijk baart hem grote zorgen. Zal zijn jonge dochter Aoife in staat zijn om de verantwoordelijkheid te dragen als toekomstig koningin van Tara? Hij vreest voor de duistere machten van de andere werelden, die zich reeds manifesteren in zijn eigen land.

AOIFE
Aoife is princess of TARA and Cormac's only child. Her mother died during her infancy. She is a tomboy and intent on being as good as any man in the disciplines of warrior fighting. She is in love with her childhood friend Fionn.

Aoife is koning Cormac's enige kind. Haar moeder stierf toen zij nog jong was. Ze is een sterke jonge vrouw, die zich alle disciplines van het krijgsvechten eigen gemaakt heeft en zich in het gevecht kan meten aan iedere man. Haar liefde voor Fionn is nog altijd even sterk als de liefde die zij sinds hun eerste ontmoeting tijdens hun jeugd, voor hem koestert.

FIONN
Fionn is a great warrior and in love with Aoife. He however not of royal blood.

Fionn is een grootse krijger. Hij koestert een liefde voor prinses Aoife, die, hoewel wederzijds, nooit officieel zal kunnen worden beantwoord vanwege zijn lage afkomst.

MORDHA
Mordha is chieftain and nobleman from the north. King Cormac wants him to marry Aoife and thus unite the two kingdoms.

Mordha is krijgsheer en Edelman uit het noorden. Koning Cormac verkoos hem als toekomstige echtgenoot van zijn dochter Aoife. Met dit huwelijk zullen de beide koninkrijken verenigd zijn.

CRUIONN
Cruionn is court druid. He is a sorcerer of immense power, ambitious and devious.

Cruionn is de Druide aan het hof van Cormac. Een Druide met ongekende krachten, die hij zal aanwenden om zijn ambitieuze kwade plannen te verwezenlijken...
